Great Bay Services is a non-profit 501(C)(3) human services organization headquartered at 2061 Woodbury Avenue in Newington, NH. Besides being our corporate HQ, many services are coordinated from this location. Those include Job Training, School to Work Transition Services, Life Skills and Life Enhancement instruction and support, Job Placement and Case Management.

Over one hundred people receive services within the local community each day. The organization also operates four supervised apartment settings. Two of these are in Portsmouth; one is in Newington and one in York, Maine. Forty two individuals with developmental disabilities live at these locations. Great Bay’s service delivery area includes Rockingham and Strafford Counties in New Hampshire and southern York County in Maine.

Great Bay Services is a United Way Partner Agency. The organization’s Community Employment Services are internationally accredited through CARF, The Rehabilitation Commission, out of Tucson Arizona. Great Bay Services is a founding member of the New Hampshire Private Provider Network (PPN). The organization is an authorized vendor of services for both the Maine and New Hampshire Vocational Rehabilitation Agencies. Great Bay Services is a service provider for Regions VIII, IX and X of the NH developmental disabilities system and for Region 1 in Maine.

Great Bay Services provides support for people with developmental disabilities that enable them to live and work in the community as independently as possible and with a high quality of life.
